myCrew is a free app that lets you quickly find out who is available to help, confirm with them and let everyone else know the problem is solved. You can simultaneously ask friends and trusted people in your networks, using your phones contact list, but contrary to a group chat or email, they receive the request individually and you can see all the options available to you. Own the moment. Be spontaneous again!

Whether you need to see who can help with babysitting this weekend, can pick up kids if you are running late or do carpool for the school team this week, myCrew is here to help. And it can remember the group you asked, so the next time, its even easier!

myCrew is built to make life simpler: your request is a Twitter like in its length, replies are limited to Yes/No/Maybe, you can easily update and resend, and it integrates seamlessly into your calendars. All in real time, as things happen, from anywhere you happen to be.

myCrew makes groupsourcing assistance possible. What is groupsourcing? Groupsourcing is the practice of broadcasting requests to groups of people in order to discover who can provide something that is needed either online or offline. The request could be of help, support, services, ideas, content, things or contributions. Its the practice of soliciting assistance from a groups of people that are formed by friends, trusted personal networks and specific communities, rather than from unconnected strangers, traditional employees or suppliers. Groupsourcing enables transactions where the parties both give and receive/receive value through participation, connection and community.

* Create Requests: Send requests stating what you need and when. Add location and details if you want to. Send to individual contacts from your contact list, add and remove as you want - you can always change and update the list the task is sent to. You can create groups to send to, called Crews.

* Create Crews: Crews are groups of people that you link together because the fit a certain aspect of your life (e.g. family, best friends, sitters, parents of the kids in the team or class). Easily Add or Remove group participants.
